Signal bots with fixed levels
How a signal bot follows one trade idea you type in: a limit entry at your price, an exact stop and target enforced by the trading engine, in paper mode.
Availability: Signal bots run in paper mode only. Creating bots depends on your plan, your account and the platform launch gates. Your dashboard is the source of truth for what your account can actually use today.
A signal bot follows one trade idea that you type in yourself β for example a call you read in a channel. You give it the prices, and it does exactly that one trade: enter at your price, leave at your stop or at your target. It does not analyse the market and it never picks a trade on its own.
What you enter
Create one from Bots β New bot β Signal bot (manual levels).
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Market | Spot, or a Binance USDT perpetual. Long only, at 1x (no leverage) |
| Pair | The coin you want to trade, for example BTC/USDT |
| Stake | How much of your paper balance the trade uses |
| Entry price | The price you want to buy at |
| Stop price | The price at which the bot sells to limit the loss |
| Target price | The price at which the bot sells to take the profit |
| Allowed slippage | How far above your entry the market may already be. Default 1 % |
| Entry expiry | How long the entry order may wait. Default 4 hours |
Rules for the three prices
- The stop is below the entry, and the entry is below the target.
- The stop sits between 1 % and 25 % below the entry.
- The target sits between 1 % and 200 % above the entry.
A form that breaks one of these rules is refused before anything is created.
How the entry works
The bot does not chase the price.
- It places a limit order at your entry price.
- If the market is already more than your allowed slippage above the entry (1 % by default), it refuses to place the order rather than buy higher than you planned.
- The order waits until the expiry you set (4 hours by default). If it has not filled by then, it is cancelled and the bot shows Entry expired.
An expired entry costs nothing. If the idea is still valid, create a new signal bot with fresh levels.
How the exits work
The stop and the target are the exact prices you typed. They are enforced inside the trading engine that runs your bot, so they keep working when your dashboard is closed, your browser is off or you are offline.
When the position closes, the bot shows why: target reached or stop reached.
What you see while the trade is open
The bot page shows a position card with:
- your entry price and the current price,
- your stop and your target, with the distance to each,
- the unrealized profit or loss.
The bot list shows the open profit or loss for each signal bot, so you can follow several ideas at a glance.
After the position closes
The bot stays on but idle. It reports that the position is closed, the exit reason, and that it is a single-signal bot.
- One signal, one bot. For a second idea, create a second bot.
- There are no re-entries and no add-ons. The bot never buys again by itself.
- You can stop or delete an idle bot whenever you like.
Stopping a bot that holds a position
Your stop and target live in the running engine. For that reason a plain stop or restart is refused while a position is open β it would leave the position unprotected.
If you want out, use Stop and close position. The bot closes the position first and then stops.
Older signal bots created with percentages
Signal bots created before fixed levels existed used a stop percentage and a target percentage. They keep working as before until their trade closes: their levels are measured from the price at which the entry actually filled. Nothing is changed in the middle of a trade. New signal bots use fixed prices.
FAQ
Can a signal bot trade with real funds? No. Signal bots are paper trading only. See Paper trading vs live crypto trading.
Can I short, or use leverage? No. Signal bots are long only at 1x, on spot or on a Binance USDT perpetual.
The price touched my entry but the bot did not buy. Why? A limit order fills only when the market trades at your price or better and there is enough volume. A brief touch may not fill it. If the expiry passes, the bot shows Entry expired.
The price was already above my entry when I created the bot. What happens? If it is more than your allowed slippage above the entry, no order is placed. The bot does not chase the market.
Can I change the stop or the target after the bot started? No. The levels are fixed for the life of the bot. To use different levels, close the position and create a new signal bot.
Does a signal bot use AI or cost AI budget? No. It follows your prices only. For bots that decide on their own, see Autonomous agentic bots.
